Hello SPH ❤




I have started internship at SPH after a much awaited interview session. Today is my second day here and to be straight forward, it's just perfect here.

I love everything about the workplace and what I do here. I love the feeling of being a journalist, I can't wait for my first outfield interview scheduled the day after tomorrow with the founder of Singapore's first ever home restaurant, Zina Alam.

The whole editorial team are clustered together within this huge, spacious building. There were huge pipes and fans above and just merely looking at them make you feel important. It's a mega work station here, journalists and photographers and editors working together to churn out the headlines.The most important thing is, it's not cold like the staff room where it felt more like a polar bear den than anywhere. (This is a Chinese Newspaper and we are rather homogenious in term of cold tolerance)

Plus there was a rooftop garden where the canteen is located, and where staff gather for after-walk party and networking session, one can even play some sports and go for a workout there. It's fantastic and I love it=)
It just made me feel really good thinking about the fact that this is where I'm gonna be for the next three months. I hope the experience is fulfilling and look forward to every single day that I'm gonna spend.
